Digital training is everywhere.
Courses, webinars, certificates and online tutorials are everywhere. But at Klir Online, we believe there is a bigger question to ask:
What happens after the training?
Knowing how to use Canva, LinkedIn, AI or social media scheduling tools is useful. But confidence grows when people get the opportunity to use those skills in a real working environment.
That is why practical experience matters.
For someone starting their career, changing direction or returning to work, being able to say “I completed a course” is very different from being able to say:
“I created content for a real organisation.”
“I helped manage a social media account.”
“I worked to a deadline.”
“I contributed ideas in a team.”
“I can show you what I produced.”
At Klir Online, our social purpose sits alongside the commercial work we do. We want digital skills to lead somewhere.
That includes creating opportunities for volunteers, interns and people who may not always have easy access to the digital and creative industries.
Small businesses can play an important role in this too.
You do not need to be a huge company to give somebody meaningful experience. A few hours supporting a real project, sitting in on a planning session or creating content with proper feedback can make a difference.
The digital sector changes quickly. AI is changing roles. Social media platforms keep evolving. Employers increasingly want people who can demonstrate what they can actually do.
So training needs to move beyond theory.
For us, the future of digital skills is about three things:
Learn it. Use it. Build from it.
A certificate can open a door.
Real experience can help someone walk through it.
At Klir Online, that is the kind of digital opportunity we want to keep creating.
